Attorneys and staff at Holland & Hart’s Las Vegas office recently collected and donated $14,646 to the United Way of Southern Nevada. The office achieved 100 percent participation and exceeded its goal for the year.
“I am very proud of my colleagues for achieving 100 percent participation, an accomplishment that demonstrates Holland & Hart’s commitment to giving back in the communities we serve,” said Administrative Partner Patrick Reilly. “We are honored and dedicated to supporting the United Way of Southern Nevada and look forward to helping the organization in many other ways throughout the year.”
The event was organized through the Las Vegas Committee of the Holland & Hart Foundation, the firm’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation dedicated to promoting the human side of community service by creating ways for the firm’s extended "family" to help others in need. In addition to lawyers offering their professional services on a pro bono basis, firm members also do non-legal charitable and civic work.
Holland & Hart’s Las Vegas office participates in quarterly projects in support of United Way. So far this year, those have included the fundraising drive and the “Flip Through Summer” book drive.
“United Way of Southern Nevada is proud of our new partnership with Holland & Hart,” said Cass Palmer, United Way of Southern Nevada President and CEO. “We applaud Holland & Hart for their dedication to making a difference in our community and for surpassing their campaign goal of $14,000 with 100 percent employee participation! We thank Holland & Hart for their generous support of the community.”
