Holland & Hart is proud to announce it received the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Distinguished Pro Bono Law Firm Award for 2017. The award was presented at this year’s Utah Celebrates Pro Bono week kick-off address on October 23, as part of the college’s Pro Bono Initiative program.
The Salt Lake City office was honored for its outstanding commitment over the past year providing pro bono legal services to individuals, non-profits, and other Utah organizations, including partnering with the ACLU of Utah in a sixth amendment class action challenge of the State of Utah’s indigent defense program, and assisting the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center to help convicted defendants pursue post-conviction relief.
