SPCA of Northern Nevada is Reno-Sparks’ first independent, no-kill animal shelter organization. For over 17 years, SPCA has rescued and found homes for over 20,000 pets while establishing new programs and services for the northern Nevada community.

“I have been extremely lucky to be a part of the SPCA of Northern Nevada,” said Ms. Fogarty. “We have amazing staff, volunteers, and Board members whose commitment and dedication to bettering the lives of northern Nevada’s homeless dogs and cats goes without measure, and I am particularly proud of the lifetime commitment we make to each of our animals. It truly is an honor to have been elected as the Chair and I look forward to working with our team to further our mission as an innovative regional leader in the responsible treatment of homeless dogs and cats.”
