Social Security Administration Revises Wage Base For 2018

The 2018 Social Security wage base has been revised downward from $128,700 to $128,400. The Social Security Administration announced the revision in a November 27, 2017 press release, based on recently corrected data. We previously issued an alert on October 19, 2017 with a chart of historical qualified plan limits. Our revised chart can be found here.
