Steve assists clients with preparing and protecting domestic and international patent applications in the electrical and computer-related arts.

He works as an integral part of a large team of attorneys, agents, and engineers to support large institutional technology companies in protecting their innovations. He applies his background in electrical engineering, physics, and astronomy to support clients across the computer networking and wireless communications industries with offensive, defensive, and monetization analysis.

In the event that an intellectual property dispute arises, Steve assists in enforcing his clients’ proprietary rights and deftly defends against infringement allegations.

Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Steve completed a clerkship at the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Texas, and previously spent three years as a litigation and IP associate at a Hawaii law firm.
