Strategic Acquisition of Fortifiber Expands Innovative Business Offerings

Holland & Hart represented Fortifiber, LLC, a leading manufacturer of weather-resistive moisture management systems, in the sale of 100% of its membership interests to Henry Company LLC, a subsidiary of American Securities, LLC. The transaction reinforces Henry Company’s position as a leading provider of complete Building Envelope Systems® and enhances the full offering of water resistive air barrier solutions for the benefit of homeowners, builders, architects and contractors.

Being part of Henry Company will allow Fortifiber to accelerate the expansion of its innovative brands that protect and enhance the building envelope and grow into new markets beyond its existing Western and Southwestern United States core geographies.

“The future of Fortifiber within the Henry product portfolio is tremendously exciting, and I want to extend special thanks to the Holland & Hart team for their commitment and quality service as our legal partners in this transaction,” said Chris Yount, President of Fortifiber.

Holland & Hart’s transaction team was led by Reno partner Fritz Battcher, and also included Chris Myers, Paige Coriden, and Lori Argall as the M&A team, along with subject matter experts Beth Nedrow, Cory Talbot, Braden Parker, Ken Logsdon, Peter Perla, Adam Cohen, Trent Timmons, Gian Brown, Erica Nannini, Bryce Alstead, John Ludlum, Lance Earl, and Matthew Cavarra.
