Amy focuses her practice in trademark enforcement and prosecution. She counsels clients on trademark selection and clearance, and on strategies for securing, maintaining, licensing, and enforcing their trademark portfolios, both domestically and internationally. Amy's adversarial experience includes opposition and cancellation proceedings before Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, complaints pursuant to Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), mediations, arbitrations, and matters before international tribunals with the assistance of local counsel. Amy is also a skilled litigator, representing plaintiff and defendant clients in trademark, copyright, and patent matters in federal court.
Before joining Holland & Hart, Amy earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, served as a healthcare consultant at Tapestry Networks in Waltham, Massachusetts, and practiced law with McCarter & English in Boston, Massachusetts.
