Attorneys Shaun Kennedy and Nicole Vele Appointed to Leadership Positions in the ABA Public Contract Law Section

Holland & Hart is proud to announce that government contracts attorneys Shaun Kennedy and Nicole Vele were both appointed to serve in leadership positions for the 2024-2025 term on several committees of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Public Contract Law.

The ABA Public Contract Law section is a global network of procurement professionals that serves to provide balanced recommendations on procurement policy, provide a forum to engage with colleagues across all segments of the procurement industry, and gain insight into and develop unique perspectives of federal, state and local public contract law. The Section has over 20 practice-specific substantive committees that share and produce resources, content, and initiatives for members.

Shaun, a partner in the firm’s Denver and Washington, DC offices, was appointed vice-chair of the Bid Protest Committee and Subcontract, Teaming and Supply Chain Committee.

Nicole, of counsel in the firm’s Washington, DC office, was reappointed co-chair of the Commercial Products and Services Committee, vice-chair of the Battle Space and Contingency Procurements Committee, and Diversity Committee, and was appointed vice-chair of the Procurement Fraud and False Claims Committee.
