Alex provides pragmatic counsel to clients facing business disputes and is a tireless advocate for their interests in court.
Alex represents clients at all phases of dispute resolution, from pre-litigation to trial to appeal. Drawing on his in-house experience, Alex is adept at understanding business clients’ needs and providing practical and timely guidance. He has represented companies operating in a variety of industry sectors—including outdoor recreation, natural resources, and technology—in contract, business tort, and property disputes. Alex works closely with clients to proactively identify and resolve issues to assess and manage liability, minimize costs, and efficiently pursue their business goals. When lawsuits are filed, clients benefit from Alex’s experience litigating cases in various state and federal courts, including trials to verdict.
Before joining Holland & Hart, Alex worked as in-house counsel for an international resort management and outdoor recreation company, and he practiced at a large regional law firm based in Denver.
After law school, Alex clerked for Judge Carolyn B. McHugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and Justice William W. Hood, III of the Colorado Supreme Court.
