With nearly two decades of government affairs experience, Cindy has built deep relationships in the Wyoming business community, executive branch, and the Legislature.
Cindy’s experience includes advocating for Wyoming businesses and local governments, translating business needs into legislative policy to advance client objectives. She has been appointed by Governor Gordon, Governor Mead, Senate President Drew Perkins, and Superintendent Megan Degenfelder to serve in roles that have helped shape the future of Wyoming from government reform and efficiency task forces to the state’s inaugural Charter School Authorizing Board. She served as the Director of Government and Public Affairs for BP’s US Lower 48 onshore exploration and production business, including BP’s Wamsutter facility, which at the time was the largest oil and gas field in their global portfolio.
The "code of the West” is woven through Cindy’s work for clients and for her community. Cindy and her family ranch, raise quarter horses in Wyoming and Arizona, and produce rodeo events and team ropings.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Cindy served as the President/CEO of the Wyoming Business Alliance and Wyoming Heritage Foundation and formerly served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, in the criminal division of the Wyoming Attorney General’s office. Cindy was the first woman elected as the Carbon County and Prosecuting Attorney.
