Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that attorney Emily Schilling, partner in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, was recently elected to serve as Chair of the Utah Clean Air Partnership (UCAIR) Board of Directors. UCAIR is a statewide clean air partnership created to make it easier for individuals, businesses, and communities to effect change to collectively improve Utah’s air. UCAIR is guided by an Executive Director and Board of Directors, which comprises representatives from a broad spectrum of interests.
UCAIR’s partnership works to improve Utah’s air quality through education, awareness, and resource support, including educational initiatives, a grant program for organizations demonstrating measurable emission reductions, a partnership network of organizations committed to improving Utah’s air quality, and direct engagement with Utahns across the state to devise technical solutions for air quality issues.
Emily most recently served as Chair-Elect of UCAIR’s Board of Directors, and has been a member of the Board since 2019. In her practice, Emily leverages her technical skills and national experience to advise clients across industry sectors in the development of air quality permitting and compliance strategies, and to represent clients in enforcement actions and rulemaking proceedings before state agencies and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
