“We have become an arbitration nation,” one court has said, but the rapidly expanding field of commercial arbitration remains a mystery to many practitioners. Please join us for a panel presentation moderated by Justice Rebecca Kourlis, in which our panelists—all Fellows in the College of Commercial Arbitrators—will discuss arbitration best practices, tips and tricks for navigating the commercial arbitration process from beginning to end, cautionary tales for the unwary advocate, and how to explore becoming an arbitrator yourself. The panelists will also discuss the ethical considerations involved in the selection and appointment of commercial arbitrators, as well as the ethics of social media use by arbitrators.
