Holland & Hart represented Clearway Energy Group (Clearway), one of the largest developers and operators of clean energy in the United States, in the negotiation of agreements for two battery/solar projects in California and one solar project in Texas.
The Electric Power team negotiated two Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Agreements (EPCs) for an integrated 200 MW of solar + 200 MWh battery project known as Victory Pass, and for a 263 MW solar + 30 MW/200 MWh + 71 MW/284 MWh + 15 MW/60 MWh battery project known as Arica, each located in Desert Center, Riverside County, California. The team also negotiated an Equipment Supply Agreement for the supply of the battery equipment for each project.
Holland & Hart also represented Clearway in the negotiation of two EPCs for the Texas Solar Nova 1 and Texas Solar Nova 2 utility-scale solar projects located near Spur, Texas.
