Melissa is a trial attorney, helping clients navigate legal and business issues to proactively avoid disputes, and when necessary, to forcefully defend business decisions.
Melissa counsels telecommunications and wireless services providers through the complex federal, state, and local regulatory hurdles required to deploy new technologies, expand services, and maintain existing networks. Melissa delivers holistic services to help clients meet the esacalted increase in demand resulting from telehealth, remote work, expansion to rural areas, ‘last mile’ service in urban locations, and heightened emergency services. Drawing on in-depth industry knowledge, she handles permitting, local land use and zoning conditions and local council representation, as well as litigation and appeals in state and federal courts.
Melissa also provides outside general counsel services to mid-market companies needing in-house legal support on matters ranging from operational policy and procedures, risk management, privacy and security issues, and resolving business disputes.
