William Callison Receives Colorado Bar's 2024 Cathy Stricklin Krendl Lifetime Achievement Award

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce William “Bill” Callison, a partner in Holland & Hart’s Denver office, has been selected as The Cathy Stricklin Krendl Lifetime Achievement Award recipient by the Colorado Bar Association. Sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association Business Law Section, this award recognizes a lawyer’s lifetime devotion to the advancement of Colorado business law and the principles of legal professionalism.

The award was named in honor of Cathy Stricklin Krendl, a retired principal in Krendl Krendl Sachnoff & Way, P.C. for over 30 years. In 2014, Krendl was named the first recipient for serving as both the inspiration for, and exemplar of, the lawyers to whom the award should be given.

Bill is a preeminent practitioner in LLC and partnership law and is an authority on laws governing fiduciary duties and affordable housing. He advises clients in forming and financing business entities; on corporate and partnership mergers and consulting on acquisitions; and dissolution and dissociation; and affordable and multifamily housing. Bill is also sought after as a consulting or testifying expert witness in corporate, LLC, partnership, contract, professional malpractice, and related legal matters.

Bill has earned numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and serves as a member of the American Law Institute. Bill received the 2023 Brooke Wunnicke Outstanding Mentor Award by the Colorado Law Alumni Board, and he was the 2022 recipient of the Martin I. Lubaroff Award by the American Bar Association’s Section of Business Law, LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee. He is consistently recognized for corporate law, nonprofit/charities law, and tax law by The Best Lawyers in America.

Bill was honored at the Colorado Bar Association’s 2024 Business Law Institute on September 5, 2024.
