Chelsea brings over a decade of hospitality and project development experience to advise clients on the development, construction, and financing of real estate projects nationwide.
Chelsea’s experience spans a diverse array of projects, ensuring comprehensive support and tailored solutions to meet each of her client’s unique needs. She provides guidance in real estate and finance projects including industrial facilities, charter schools, multifamily housing, and urban-infill developments, as well as mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects. Chelsea routinely navigates clients through the complexities of securing financing for matters that involve tax incentives, municipal development programs, federal funding, multiple funding streams, sophisticated joint-venture partnerships, and public-private partnerships.
Chelsea handles all aspects of real estate finance and development, including title and survey matters, existing entitlements, and overcoming construction and financing challenges. Her comprehensive experience assists her in navigating the intricacies of commercial real estate transactions to help her clients achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Chelsea was an associate at two Denver real estate firms. She also served as a judicial intern for Justice William Hood, III of the Colorado Supreme Court, and for Senior Judge Edwin L. Felter, Jr. of the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts.
Prior to law school, Chelsea gained valuable experience in the hospitality sector leading restaurant builds and openings in US and abroad. She frequently navigated the unique challenges of adapting historic structures to modern requirements while managing the pressures of tight deadlines. Chelsea also developed training and operational guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal law, and developed technology initiatives to enhance team efficiency across the company. This diverse background has provided her with a unique skill set and understanding of managing complex projects.
