Holland & Hart LLP represented Kava Equity Partners, LLC, the direct private equity investment group of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund, on its acquisition of Arrowhead Contracting (Arrowhead), a leading environmental remediation services provider and general contractor.
With this strategic acquisition, Kava Equity Partners plans to expand its portfolio into the federal government contracting sector in partnership with Arrowhead, whose focus is on environmental remediation and general contracting projects for federal, commercial, and Native American customers. Kava’s goal is to diversify and grow the Tribe’s investments by making private equity investments in lower middle market companies that see business value in partnering with the Tribe and are aligned with the Tribe’s cultural, environmental, and economic values.
