Holland & Hart Announces New Firm Leadership in 2024

DENVER (Jan. 8, 2024)—Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of several partners to new leadership roles effective January 1, 2024. The firm’s Management Committee appointed two new Practice Group Leaders and three new office Administrative Partners.

"Each partner joining the firm’s leadership team brings perspective and vision that will help shape the firm’s ongoing success over the coming years,” said Chris Balch, Firm Chair. “They will make valuable contributions to our culture and the implementation of the firm’s strategic goals in their practices and markets. The Management Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the partners who served in these significant leadership roles for their incredible dedication and engagement.”

Practice Group Leaders

Reno partner Doug Flowers was appointed leader of the Real Estate, Development, and Finance Practice Group. In his real estate transactional practice, Doug provides pragmatic guidance on large residential developments and other commercial and industrial projects. He succeeds Hugh O’Halloran, who has served as the group’s leader since 2022.

Boise partner Dean Bennett was appointed leader of the Employment and Labor Practice Group. Dean represents clients to resolve complex business and competition disputes. He also helps employers resolve claims of wrongful discharge and complex wage and hour matters. He succeeds Mark Wiletsky, who has served as the group’s leader since 2020.

Administrative Partners

Partner Kevin Giles was appointed Administrative Partner in Aspen. He succeeds Mark Hamilton, who served as the leader of the Aspen office from 2013-2021 and mid-2022 to 2023. Kevin's real estate practice includes commercial and residential acquisitions, dispositions, and development, commercial and residential leasing—representing both landlords and tenants—and real estate-related litigation.

Partner Brianne McClafferty was appointed Administrative Partner of the firm’s Billings office. She succeeds Scott Mitchell, who served in this role since 2018. Brianne guides clients through complex litigation, including commercial, environmental, employment, and bankruptcy litigation.

Partner Greg Gilbert was appointed Administrative Partner of the firm’s Las Vegas office, a role he previously held from 2006-2013. He succeeds Connie Akridge, who served in this role from 2017-2021, and again from mid-2022 to 2023. Greg leads a team of attorneys and business professionals dedicated to supporting clients in developing, financing, constructing, and operating private and public projects in a variety of industries across the United States.
